I know you.
You’re an encourager.
I’ve read your comments, seen your facebook updates, and followed your tweets. In little and big ways, you know how to brighten the days of those around you–in person and online. So I’ve got a challenge for you: Make 2014 a year of when you do that more than ever before.
On January 1st, I’m kicking off a new link-up series called Coffee for Your Heart. The concept is simple: I’m asking you to pour out a little love with your words once a week.
If you’re a blogger, I’ll have a prompt so you can write a post that intentionally encourages your readers. If you’re not a blogger, you can still jump in through facebook or twitter. And if you’re not on those spaces either, you can just choose another way in your day-to-day life and share in the comments here. Easy-peasy.
Research shows that those who focus on encouraging others are happier, healthier and live longer. So this could be the best New Year’s resolution you’ve ever made.
Go ahead and shred all the other ones you’ve been thinking about. Yep, especially that one you’ve really been dreading. And not only will you be helping yourself by doing this–you’ll be helping others in your life too. “Live a life of love” {Eph. 5:2}.
I’ll have a kick-off post on January 1st to officially get us started. And then the first link-up will be the following week. I’m excited about sharing this new journey with you! Woo-hoo!
What do you say, friend? Are you ready to pour out a little love together in 2014?
XOXO
p.s. Who else do you know who loves to encourage others? You can invite them to join us! Just tell them, “This made me think of you…”
