You’re Allowed to Be a Regifter {Heart of Christmas Series}

Freely you have received, freely give. {Matthew 10:8} “Regifting” is one of the longest standing Christmas controversies. Most of us are probably tempted to pass Aunt Hilda’s platter on to someone who would have more appreciation for it, even though we may not admit to it.

Fortunately, God has good news for all of the “regifters” out there. In His Kingdom, not only is regifting okay—it’s actually commanded!

If we’re given a blessing then God wants us to pass it along to someone else. That includes our time, energy, money, talents, and material possessions. We’re to receive from God with open hands and release what we have been given with open hearts.

If we all became regifters, the world would be a better place (and Aunt Hilda’s platter might finally find a happy home). Maybe this is the year to start a regifting revolution–I won’t tell if you don’t.

What are some blessings you have received that you can pass along?

XOXO
