{my graphics are free goodies for you}
The longer I am on this spinning earth the more I know this to be true: Love is hard and beautiful and doesn’t come naturally to any of us. We all need the God who is love because we are all so clumsy with human hearts–our own and each others’.
We crave love, we are created for it and yet we get all mixed up about it. I personally struggle with believing that I have to earn the right to be loved. I need to be perfect, to give and give, to keep it all together. I’m still coming to understand that love is always and only a gift to be received.
If you need a reminder about what it really means to love and be loved too, then join Suzie Eller, Jennifer Watson and I for the video conversation below. (We also ended up talking about Spanx, streaking and laughing so hard you have to run to the bathroom–you can consider that bonus material.)
Let’s rest in this today: We are already loved. Truly. Deeply. Always.
XOXO,
Holley Gerth

Right now, we’re doing a special link-up series to celebrate Fiercehearted: Live Fully, Love Bravely. You’re a fiercehearted woman so I’m asking you to pour out a little love and courage with your words every Wednesday {the link-up goes live at 5:30am CST}. Simply write an encouraging blog post, especially if it’s about living fully and loving bravely, and then share it here. Don’t have a blog? You can still write an encouraging comment. If you’re reading this by email, go to holleygerth.com to see all the fun and join in too.
When you link up your post, take a moment to leave an encouraging comment on the one that’s linked up just before yours. Thanks, friends!
I’m having Coffee For Your Heart with my friend Holley Gerth!
