PS – When Our Plates Are Full…

Lord,

Life is busy.

You know what it’s like to have a hectic schedule, a full plate.

You also know what our hearts need in those times.

So we come to you today asking…

For peace that passes understanding when we don’t know what to do.   (Philippians 4:7)

For joy that is our strength when we grow tired along the way. (Nehemiah 8:10)

For love that is poured into our hearts when we feel there’s nothing more to give. (Romans 5:5)

Help us say YES to your best and give us courage to say no to everything else.

Draw us near, carry us through,

fill our plates not with more to do…

but more of you.

Amen.

PS – Every Sunday we pray for each other and share with each other. This week, leave a comment letting us know how we can pray for you or someone you love–especially if you’re feeling like your plate is too full. (Sometimes it feels like mine is a platter! Ha! Anyone else?) And if you have an answered prayer we’d love for you to share that too! Leave your comment.
