God-sized Dream = A desire in your heart for more of what God has for you.
We’re opening the door to God-sized dreams in 2013. So every week we get together to encourage each other {because don’t we all need it? yes, ma’am.}. This week Dee Kasberger is here to share about God-sized dreams with you…

One thing I’ve learned about God sized dreams is the HOW of the dream.
All the details of HOW the dream happens are not up to me. That’s God’s department.
My dream was to be able to share my Faith. Encourage women to have Hope and Grace and Mercy and tell them what Jesus had done for me. and that He could do the same for them. But how? I wanted to be and I thought I should be like the older women at church who could just walk up to someone and pray for them, know what they needed and speak words of truth right then. Just what they needed. When they needed to hear it. I always seemed to be tongue tied or worse say the wrong thing.
So I was frustrated. I read books entitled How to share my faith and How to talk to people about the Lord. In 2002 we bought a new house and I needed to decorate it. and I wanted scripture in it, bug and bold and readable from across the room. For my family and kids who were just beginning to read And I thought well at least everyone that comes into my home will be able to READ the truth even if I couldn’t talk about it very well!
However I can do that through art. Through the internet. I would never have described myself as an artist growing up. Creative, yes. But an artist, never. So when God heard the cry of my heart after a particularly dark season that all I wanted to do was glorify Him in whatever spare time I had and share everything He had done for me yet again! –
It’s been 16 years now since we asked Jesus into out hearts and I still can rarely talk about that without crying happy tears or blubbering my way through my story and a little over 4 years since I started selling art on Etsy.
See I didn’t know HOW the dream of sharing my faith was going to happen, I just needed to do my thing, use my gifts and then let God do his.

Now it’s your turn!
Link-up your blog post sharing: What do you really want more of in your life? Will you dare to say it out loud? Hint: it probably means having less of something too {ex: more joy, less stress}.
So we can all find each other, please include this God-sized Dreams button in your post. Also, love on your fellow God-sized dreamin’ sisters by leaving a comment on the post before yours.
For next Tuesday write a blog post that shares what brings you joy, especially when it comes to your God-sized dream and link it up. {If you don’t have a blog, you can share what you did in the comments.}
One of the myths that tend to derail us from our dreams is the idea that to truly be spiritual we shouldn’t really enjoy what we’re called to do. That’s simply not true. Knowing what brings you joy is part of discovering and living your God-sized dreams. — You’re Made for a God-sized Dream: Opening the Door to All God Has for You
