What do people call you?
Wife.
Daughter.
Friend.
Writer.
Teacher.
Accountant.
Whatever people call you, it’s different than your calling.
That’s good news because it means we’re not defined by what we do, by the ways others see us, by their expectations or our efforts. We can do many different things in a lifetime and our true identity will stay the same. We will always be loved and of great value by the One who has chosen us.
You will be called many things in your lifetime.
But you have just one calling for all eternity.
And that’s to hear, answer and follow the only One who knows you completely.
