God amazes me in the ways he answers our needs. I’ve been asking him to send someone who loves all of you as much as I do to help me connect with you, encourage you, and pray for you too.
As I did, Savannah Hill kept coming to my heart again and again. So I slipped her a little note asking if she’d like to be part of loving on you. And in one of those God-is-good moments she immediately and enthusiastically said YES. So she’ll be helping me around here and on other places like twitter and facebook too.
I asked Savannah to share a little about herself with you and this is what she said. I just know you’re going to love her as much as I do…
Someone once said, “protest the chaos with something beautiful” and I really think that is what life is about. I have a deep love for Jesus, people, and diet coke. Laughter is my love language and I try to make a dance party occur every day.
My life has been marked by the goodness of God and learning to trust Him more is a sweet adventure. On February 24th, I will marry the love of my life, Aaron. As my dream of becoming a wife comes true, I am continuing my career as a counselor in private practice and a perpetual learner. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision.
A few years ago, Holley and I became friends in graduate school and she is one of those gals I consider a heart sister. To be able to call her friend is one of my greatest honors and it is a joy to now call you, her reader, a friend as well.
If I could sit down with each of you and have a diet coke I would ask that you share your story with me. We would laugh, cry, and learn how to protest the chaos with what is beautiful. It is my hope that together, with Holley, we will continue to share our stories and our hearts.
