Almost three years ago I helped cofound an online beach house called (in)courage.
We invited you to come in, put your sandy feet on the coffee table, talk late into the night with your friends and listen for God’s voice in return. So many of you did.
And it was beautiful.
Yet as time went on, we realized it simply wasn’t enough.
We wanted a way to also be in your lives, your real life.
Not that online isn’t real but it is different. And we wanted a way to also hug your neck, hear your laugh, wipe that tear away and pass the chocolate. We wanted to be able to say, “Cute shirt!” and hear your accent or watch that crease in your brow take shape when you talk about the hard day you had this week.
We wanted to connect in the face-to-face, the day-to-day.
And we wanted a way to connect you to each other more too.
Jesus is “the Word made flesh” and there’s something powerful about stepping out of the spiritual and into the tangible too. It’s what He did. And it’s what we wanted to do too.
Will you read the rest with me on (in)courage? And join us in real life this weekend?
